You know and trust Rosehill Travel as a destination management company that provides luxury holidays and guided tours around the Cotswolds with a high-quality chauffeur service. But did you know that we work very closely with travel advisors and hotels to ensure we can share our own experiences and expertise with our guests. The Lygon Arms is no exception, in fact it is one of our favourites, and we believe, one of yours too…

Where is The Lygon Arms?
Located in ‘the jewel of the Cotswolds’, Broadway village is home to the legendary coaching inn that is The Lygon Arms.
Around 2.5 hours from central London, and one hour from Birmingham Airport, Broadway is situated in the north of the Cotswolds region, close to Shakespeare’s birthplace, Stratford upon Avon and many of the Father Brown filming locations.
Broadway is blessed with classically beautiful and quaint shops and dwellings, many of which are the same age as the 14th-century hotel. King Charles I met here with his supporters, as did Oliver Cromwell, and the village was also later visited by stars of the silver screen Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Vivien Leigh and Cary Grant, all of whom stayed at The Lygon Arms.
If you’re looking for a long history, or to walk in the footsteps of the historically important, the rich and the famous, Broadway has it all to offer!
About the hotel
The Lygon Arms is a 14th-century coaching inn with 86 bedrooms, including three luxury suites and six courtyard suites. There is a stylish restaurant called ‘Grill’, by James Martin a well known and beloved English chef who offers a relaxed and informal dining experience. If, however you’re more in the mood for a traditional English pub, The Tavern serves real ales and bar snacks in the perfect setting.

The Lygon Arms is also equipped with a spa pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, fitness centre (with personal training) and is surrounded by three acres of tranquil gardens, croquet lawn, courtyard for alfresco dining, helipad and parking with EV charging. But if you need to get away from all that decadence, the hotel is perfectly positioned among some of the most captivating views of the Cotswolds with top walking routes right on our doorstep.
