Tell Me More...
Ellenborough Park, with its gorgeous bedrooms individually designed by Nina Campbell, is a classic Cotswold manor transformed into an exceptional destination hotel. The Indian-themed spa, heated outdoor pool, superb dining, and countryside setting have helped it to rocket to third place in the 2013 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice for UK hotels. Moreover, it’s set in parkland adjacent to Cheltenham’s panoramic racecourse, famous throughout the world for the quality of its horseracing.
Your stay will allow you to experience the some of the finest accommodation, spa treatments and dining in the Cotswolds. Check in to your Traditional grade room (upgrades to Classic, De Luxe or Luxury are available) and begin to relax. To help you along you will each be able to experience a 55 minute spa treatment - choose from a relaxing full body Aromatherapy Massage, enhance your skin‘s vitality with a Totally Tailored Facial, nourish hard-working hands with an Immaculate Manicure or restore tired feet with a Pristine Pedicure. Following that you can enjoy a delicious meal in The Brasserie (upgrade to fine dining in the Beaufort Restaurant is available) before settling down for a good night's sleep. For the duration of your stay you have full use of the spa and leisure facilities (including spa jacuzzi pool, sauna, steam room, sensation showers, relaxation room and outdoor heated pool).
Ten minutes’ drive from the hotel is Cheltenham Spa itself; a town celebrated for its Regency architecture, pavement cafes, fine restaurants, manicured parks and individual gems of shops. Whether you visit the famous Promenade, elegant Montpellier, the stylish Suffolks or any other ‘quarter’ of this fascinating town, each offers its own unique character.
Cheltenham has also become known for the sheer quality of its rich cultural life. The town hosts festivals throughout the year - jazz, science, music and literature - as well as excellent theatre. Alongside the magnificent Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum there’s the charming Holst Birthplace Museum, celebrating the ‘Planets’ composer. You can still explore Cheltenham’s spa past at the historic Pittville Pump Room, set in an ornate public park.
