You’ll travel to the Lake District by train. On arrival a member of our staff will meet you and take you to your hotel where you can relax with a traditional afternoon tea at the stunning Lindeth Howe hotel which was once owned by Beatrix Potter.
You’ll enjoy the stunning scenery of lakes and mountains around Conniston, Windermere, and Grasmere. A full day “10 Lakes Spectacular” tour showing the best of the region. The next morning you can relax with some shopping or take the optional visit to Beatrix Potter’s House.
Ten Lakes Spectacular Tour: On this full day group tour you’ll travel over passes, through beautiful valleys, see waterfalls and Lakeland villages. There will be plenty of time to admire the views and take photographs. All of this and a lake cruise aswell! The itinerary includes: Kirkstone Pass – Lakeland’s highest mountain pass, a lake cruise Castlerigg Stone Circle – 4,000 year old stone circle, Keswick – stopover in town centre for lunch, Ashness Bridge, Borrowdale Valley, Honister Mountain Pass, Buttermere Valley, Moss Force Waterfall, Thirlmere, Grasmere, Rydal and Ambleside before returning to your hotel!
