The First RHS Badminton Garden Show

Badminton Estate in Gloucestershire is excited to host the very first Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Garden Show in July 2026.

Not only is this historic estate host to the famous Badminton Horse Trials, a renowned filming location for period dramas such as Bridgerton and The Other Bennet Sister, but now it is adding celebrated horticulture to its list of attractions.

Rosehill’s travel tip for RHS Badminton Garden Show

Footwear!

The RHS Badminton Flower Show is set across 34 acres of historic parkland. For our overseas guests, the best piece of advice is to prioritise ‘smart-country’ footwear. Because the estate is a working landscape, many paths are gravel or grass and so to truly enjoy your day choose stylish, waterproof boots or a sturdy loafer.

Remember: July weather in England can be a ‘four seasons in one day’ affair. Pack a light, high-quality waterproof layer so you can admire the floral displays without having to dash for the marquee when a sudden Cotswold summer shower hits!

If you’re visiting the Cotswolds over 8 – 12 July this year, and a fan of gardens or stately homes, then we’d suggest the RHS show is one you’ll want to see.

We can assist in booking your tickets and crafting the rest of your holiday around this highlight, ensuring your travel is hassle-free and luxurious, and that you return to your comfortable accommodation in style. Just mention the RHS Show at Badminton when you speak to your Rosehill Travel Designer. And if your dates don’t align, Badminton Estate still makes for an incredible day out.
