The tour for castle lovers is here!

Lose yourself in history and imagine yourself among the hustle and bustle of life in a castle with our new Castles Adventure Tour.

Just a little further afield from the Cotswold region you will find some impressive castles, and Rosehill is pleased to offer a day tour of five stunning examples.

If you’re looking to explore outside the Cotswolds during your stay in the area or during a return trip, you may be interested in visiting these historical sites; once full of life and noise, crowded with lords and ladies, knights, soldiers, servants and entertainers, castles have been the scene for wars and sieges, but also served as homes and the central point for much of village life in medieval times.

These castles range between 300 and 800 years old and can be visited on a full day tour. Your Rosehill private chauffeur guide will collect you from your hotel in the North Cotswolds, or from Cheltenham train station for those who are travelling from London for the day.

The castles are located in stunning settings and in the neighbouring counties of Herefordshire and Monmouthshire which is just across the border in Wales.

The tour takes eight hours, and you’ll visit Goodrich Castle, Raglan Castle, White Castle, Skenfrith Castle, and Eastnor Castle and gardens, stopping for lunch in an excellent riverside pub in the village, where you’ll enjoy fine food in quality surroundings. Afternoon tea is also on the agenda at one of the castles.
