How Do I Book A Tour?

From the tour page, complete the short enquiry form or hit the ‘book now’ button. We will send you the tour details and when you are ready to book, one of our team will send you a booking form to complete online.

How Do I Pay For The Tour?

If your tour is more than four weeks away, we will take a £100 deposit for a one day tour or a £200 deposit for a two day tour. Full payment is due at the time of booking if the tour is less than 4 weeks away.

What Time Will The Tour Start?

Our Tours usually start at 9:30 am, but whatever time suits you.

How Long Is A Tour?

A full day tour is 7 to 8 hours. A half day tour is four hours.

What Type Of Vehicle Will We Be Traveling In?

You’ll be touring in an executive-type vehicle, ensuring comfort and luxury throughout your journey

Can We Customize The Itinerary If There’s A Specific Village Or Attraction We Want To Visit?

Certainly! While we have an ideal itinerary, we’re more than happy to accommodate specific requests to ensure you have the perfect experience.

How Knowledgeable Are The Driver-Guides About The Cotswolds?

Our driver-guides are local experts, deeply familiar with the history, culture, and beauty of the Cotswolds. They are trained to provide a comprehensive and engaging experience.

Is The Tour Suitable For All Age Groups, Especially Senior Citizens?

Absolutely! Our tour is tailored to be comfortable and enjoyable for people of all ages, including senior citizens. The pace is relaxed, and our driver-guides are sensitive to the needs of all our guests.

Will I Be Able To Manage If I Have Mobility Issues?

How Do I Know Which Pickup And Drop-Off Points Are Best For Me?

Is There An Additional Cost For Pickup From Locations Outside Of The North Cotswolds?

Yes, mileage fees apply for journeys outside of the North Cotswolds. If you need specifics, please get in touch, and we’ll be happy to provide an estimate.

Do I Need To Book Any Attraction Tickets In Advance?

While many attractions welcome walk-ins, some may require advance booking during peak times. If you have a specific place in mind, let us know, and we can guide you on the best approach.

Are Entrance Fees To Attractions Such As Hidcote Manor Garden Included In The Tour Price?

Unless entry has been pre-booked, then you are expected to pay for entry to a museum or garden.

Where Will We Have Lunch?

Lunch is not included in the package, but our knowledgeable guides can recommend wonderful local eateries based on your preferences.

Am I Expected To Have Lunch With The Guide?

Only if you’d like to. Your driver-guide will recommend a good pub, tea room or restaurant. He will be happy to join you for lunch, or meet you later on.

What If I Don’t Want To Visit A Place On The Itinerary?

Let the team know when you make the booking or tell the guide on the day of the tour. He/she will suggest alternatives or you can choose to spend more time at fewer places.

What If I Need To Cancel The Tour?

These are the cancelation fees. For more information, please read the booking terms and Conditions.

Is the price listed per person?

No, the price is based on the vehicle. The price is the same if there are 2 passengers or 6. You could split the price between up to 6 of you!

Can lunch reservations be booked by us?

Yes ofcourse. We’ll book a pub lunch or afternoon tea.

How much of the tour will be in the car?

As little as possible! We want you to be able to get out and explore the Cotswolds on foot as much as possible. In the north Cotswolds many of the towns and villages are very close together so there is very little driving. The South Cotswolds is a little more spread out but in each tour and at every location you can get out of the car.

Holidays (Tour & Hotel Booking) FAQ

How Do I Pay For The Holiday?

We will take a deposit 25% deposit to secure the booking. If your holiday is less than 6 weeks away, full payment is due at the time of booking.

How Do I Book A Rosehill Travel Holiday?

Send us an email, complete one of the enquiry forms on the website or call us. We will discuss the holiday with you and when you are completely happy with the itinerary we will send you a booking and deposit payment form.

What Happens After I’ve Booked?

We will contact you within 24 hours. A 25% deposit will be required to guarantee the booking. If for any reason we cannot fulfill your booking we will refund in full the deposit. Then we will confirm the availability of hotel, tour, transfer, and anything else you booked within three working days. Final payment will be due at least 6 weeks before the start of your holiday.

Do You Provide Holiday Insurance?

No. We recommend that you purchase holiday insurance locally and at the time of booking.

What Should I Wear For The Tour?

Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. The Cotswolds is charming in every season, but it’s always best to be prepared!

Should I Tip The Driver / Driver-Guide?

If you’ve had a great day out and would like to show your appreciation to the driver-guide, they always appreciate a tip. £20 for a full-day tour is a typical amount.

What Currency Do I Make Payments In?

Tour and holiday payments are taken in GB£.

Can I Pay By Credit Card?

Yes. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express

Do You Offer Cotswold Tours From London?

Yes, we can arrange a chauffeur to drive you in luxury.

Can I Take A Train To The Cotswolds?

Yes, you can take train from London Paddington to Kingham or Moreton in Marsh station where your driver-guide will meet you. We recommend booking through thetrainline.com

Are The Quoted Prices Inclusive Of Taxes And Surcharges?
