This Christmas get away from it all at the wonderfully luxurious Ellenborough Park Hotel, Cheltenham. Indulge yourselves this festive period with a three-night stay in one of the finest hotels in the Cotswolds. With some of the best accommodation and dining in the area, you will be fully taken care of so sit back, relax and enjoy the festive food.
Tell Me More...
Ellenborough Park, with its gorgeous bedrooms individually designed by Nina Campbell, is a classic Cotswold manor transformed into an exceptional destination hotel. What better place to get away from it all for a Casual Cotswolds Christmas?
Your stay will allow you to experience the some of the finest accommodation and dining in the Cotswolds. Check in to your Traditional grade room (upgrades to Classic, De Luxe or Luxury are available) before coming to the Brasserie where we will have an Afternoon Tea Buffet waiting. After your relaxing afternoon (maybe discovering the beautiful grounds) you are invited to a Champagne and Canapé reception before sitting down for Christmas Eve dinner.
After a great night's sleep (and maybe seeing what Santa left in your stocking), your Christmas Day begins with a Cotswold English Breakfast to see you through your morning (why not go for a pre-lunch stroll?) before celebrating the big day itself at a Champagne reception prior to your Christmas dinner. If you still have space in the evening there will also be a delicious Buffet Dinner.
Boxing Day (26th Dec) is traditionally a day for getting out and working off some of the previous day's excesses. Why not embark on a fantastic Cotswolds walk or even see if you can catch a Boxing Day Hunt? Just make sure you are back in time for dinner in the brasserie. Then it's time for one more great night ensconced in your room before we bid you farewell; but only after you've enjoyed one more Cotswold English Breakfast!
This really is the best way to experience a Cotswolds Christmas in the most relaxing and delicious way possible.
Ten minutes’ drive from the hotel is Cheltenham Spa itself; a town celebrated for its Regency architecture, pavement cafes, fine restaurants, manicured parks and individual gems of shops. Whether you visit the famous Promenade, elegant Montpellier, the stylish Suffolks or any other ‘quarter’ of this fascinating town, each offers its own unique character.
Cheltenham has also become known for the sheer quality of its rich cultural life. The town hosts festivals throughout the year - jazz, science, music and literature - as well as excellent theatre. Alongside the magnificent Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum there’s the charming Holst Birthplace Museum, celebrating the ‘Planets’ composer. You can still explore Cheltenham’s spa past at the historic Pittville Pump Room, set in an ornate public park.
